Up for sale is an Aero leather jacket in black Italian Vicenza horsehide. Aero is one of the very best premium leather jacket makers in the world, with exact reproductions of classic jackets in the finest hides. This jacket is the Board Racer, a slim fitting jacket from the 1930's made originally for a kind of motorcycle racing. With only two chest pockets and a symmetric zipper, the design is as classic as they get. Weighing 1,9kg, it is a very sturdy jacket indeed, and it hasn't been broken in yet. I am the second owner, but the original buyer of the jacket had only used it for about 10 hours in total, so it is still very stiff indeed! These jackets can take months to properly break in, but it's a very small cost for a jacket that lasts for at least a couple lifetimes The condition is like new, there are no signs of use anywhere on the jacket, no scratches etc.
Here are some measurements of the jacket:
Pit to pit: 59cm
Waist: 53,5cm
Length at front / in the back: 70,5cm / 67,5cm
Length of the sleeve, taken from the shoulder seam: 68,5cm
Width of the shoulders from the back at the widest point: 46,5cm - 47cm
As can be seen from the measurements, I think this jacket fits more like an L / 42 than a 44, as it is rather form fitting, though there is still plenty of room in the chest area.
New, these are priced at 860e. For this like new jacket, I would like 4750sek / 450e, including postage anywhere to Sweden / EU. Unfortunately fitting is not possible, as I live in Finland. No returns unless the jacket differs in condition from the pictures.
