Has Tudor taken the number one spot?

Being on Instagram, there is quite a debate heating up, about has Tudor taken the number 2 spot behind Rolex , and bumped Omega, Panerai, and other brands of that tier.
I personally think not quite but it is getting pretty close
Pricing is a little lower than Omega and half of Panerai .
I think Omega didn't get it done at Basel world but Tudor did
Any Opinions on this?

Personally, I think Tudor did a great job at Basel, presenting new watches in the Black Bay-collection such as the GMT, BB in 39 and the blue dial "explorer".
But I don't believe that Tudor comes second after Rolex. Tudor has always been a well-known brand often associated with Rolex, and taking a look at the models throughout 60-70-80's there's no question about the similarities with Rolex. Now: Tudor will always be around, and still continues to be a great watch. But if you look at the history of certain models, for example, the Omega Speedmaster and Seamaster, or Breitlings' Navitimer and Aerospace they are in a category of their own. I think that Tudor really can't be related to anything else than the similarities with Rolex and that other brands I've mentioned still have their status in the watch industry that Tudor doesn't.

Rolex, Omega, Tudor. That is how I see it.

But personally I am looking more at Grand Seiko even though the BB 58 looks nice!
