Looking to purchase a Sjoo Sandstrom and have it shipped to the US. Suggestions?

Hello all and happy holidays! I am looking to purchase an SS Royal Steel Worldtimer and have it shipped to me here in the US. We do not have any dealers here in the states!
Can you recommend a good source there in Sweden?

Thank you kindly,
Todd @ KWC
If I were you, I would call @ERIKSON URHANDEL, buy the watch from them and ask them to ship it to you. I am positive they have the channels to use, shipping wise.
If you like to ship as a private person, you can use Fedex but then you will need an extra insurance on the side. Fedex maximum limit is a $1000 from an insurance point of view. They will ship above that, but the insurance is not valid beyond the $1000.

Easiest must be to find someone you trust going to Scandinavia anyway that buys it for you.
If that person is a non EU resident they can claim the swedish salestax (20% however you will ge approx 12-15% back on a buy of less then 100KSEK) and bring it to you,or keep it until you can come and pick it up in person.

Right now you can fly Washington DC-Stockholm ToR for USD425 with IcelandAir in January. And guessing from your name you have scandinavian roots,so maybe you visit Sweden anyways?

If you don't know of them, Erikson Urhandel is a brick and mortar store in the Stockholm region.

However TS you are wrong that SS is not sold here in the US.

According to their homepage there's a dealer in Dallas,or why not deal with their online dealer?

But if you go on the dealer's website it seems they don't carry SS... :banghead:

Also just a tip if you do end up buying from a Swedish retailer:

There is often a sale going on starting on the first day of business after Christmas called "Mellandagsrea". Might be worth asking about.

Also, a retailer that sells directly to you abroad (outside of the EU) can probably sell without VAT, meaning that the price should be 20% lower than what we pay here in Sweden.

Good luck!
