Here’s a beautiful and really accurate reproduction of the iconic Levi’s Type II denim jacket. If you are unfamiliar with McCoy’s, please take a look at their website and read about them, it’s an interesting brand and they make their clothes with great precision. Bought new, by me.

the lot. 001j denim jacket is the real mccoy’s take on the iconic vintage levi's type 2 jacket from the 1950s. the jacket has a boxy silhouette and a pleated front with two front pockets. for this version the 14.5oz denim used has been carefully re-engineered to match vintage specifications, with attention to yarn quality, thread count, indigo dye applications. it is woven with yarn produced on japan’s oldest spinning machines and the indigo dye is applied seven times, faithfully reproducing the dyeing quality of the period. the result is a beautiful natural slub denim that will develop incredible fades with wear and wash, just like the original from the 1950s.
