Hej Klocksnack,
Bingoraalf:
"Does the watch come with all three boxes? Does it have both the original straps and the extra plexi-glass, screwdriver etc?"
TimeToWatch.dk
"Yes the price is right. It comes like when it leave the AD with all boxes and accessories. Like new condition."
"Hi
The perfume smell on straps are quite normal. Not only Panerai straps have this. Just got a Hublot rubber strap in from my AD and that smell heavy of vanilla. I will mail Klarlund for a price and let you know what a new crystal costs. Anyway I don't think you should be worried. I deal a lot of vintage Rolex and Omega Speedmasters with plexi and they are quite durable. They need a serious accident to smash. And when they smash Rolex costs 400 DKK for a change and Omega 550 DKK.
Anyway I will check and get back. "
Bingoraalf:
"Hello again,
I have just been in contract with Panerai. All pam 372 o-series was sold with an extra plexi crystal which was stored inside the right hand side of the box like this:
*se bilden ovan på innerboxen*
In other words, the box/inner box is not correct for the model and is not how it should have come from the AD. This will of course affect the price of my pam 372 quite significantely down the line. So I am a bit puzzled on how to proceed with this. I do like the watch and I've worn it for a while so I don't feel like returning it is an option for you or me(?). As you are probably aware of, most 'Paneristi' are crazy for full-sets, and if this is incorrect the price and desirability of the watch will take quite a hit.
In other words: I bought and paid for a watch that was "as new from AD" which it clearly is not."
TimeToWatch.dk svarar då:
"Sorry for the confuse regarding the box. I have just sold the watch as I got it and as the seller got it at the AD. I am not expert in all Panerais and how they come from AD since there a lots of different models. So I did not take affair when I got it in. I offer one week of return if not satisfied. I could have taken the watch back at that time but you kept it. I can not offer any refund or discount here a month later since I have no space for this on a watch like this. If you have been unhappy when you got it I would have asked you to return it and get your money back.
What did you expect to get out of this a month later? "
Bingoraalf:
"Hello again,
I understand that it was a bad decision of me to wear it even though I was suspicious towards it. At the same time I was told that this was the best you could do on this piece, and I only suspected that the crystal was missing - which frankly is not that big of a deal for me. Now that it turns out the the box is not correct for the watch, it is enough reason for me to want to return. Even though I have worn the watch I cannot see how I am at fault for a mistake made on your part. I am aware that I have a responsibility to inspect the piece, which I did to an expected extent.
If it is not possible to get the correct box for my watch and you are unwilling to compensate for selling a product which does not match the description. With the only other alternative being that I return it and take a financial blow (which will probably end up in the thousands?) I cannot see how this can get resolved leaving both parties satisfied.
For me to be satisfied, I would either want economical compensation fitting what the loss would be when I eventually sell the watch OR Return the watch for a full refund - since the product does not match your description in which case I will pay for the insured shipping to you.
If you think I am being unreasonable, which I suspect you do - please have in mind that I paid a dealers premium for a watch that does not have the correct watch even though it was sold as such"
TimeToWatch.dk svarar då:
"The watch does not have a lower value because of this box. If you came to me in 2-3 years to re-sale the watch the price would be the same. The box is a small detail but since this is not a limited Edition piece nobody really care if it is this or that box. I have sold 3 other PAM372 and no one has ever mentioned this before you and I did not have focus on this crystal before.
Since the watch is not in same condition as sold and you did not return it within the return period I can not refund it for full amount. The price you paid was a nice price for a "like new" watch, so I do not understand your argument on the "premium price".
As I mentioned before you should just have returned the watch when you got it without using it if you were unhappy with the deal. Not one month later. If we were talking a well used watch I would not care to take it back but this was an unused piece that has lost value from you wearing it. I will not cover this loss."

TimeToWatch.dk:
"With this mail I withdraw the opputunity for returning the watch or paying you any refund of any kind. So from now on no return of refund of any kind possible unless the judge says so."
