Good morning community!
Up for sale is my Tissot Seastar Chrono. Watch was recently serviced. This beauty was only produced in 1969, which makes it pretty rare. I found an article about the watch here: http://thewatchspotblog.com/?p=1463
Function:
Pushers are crisp, all hands zero perfectly. All functions given. The Lemania 1277 movement is just beautiful and looks very clean. It runs strong with a slight + of about 5-10 sec/day. Small second at 9, 30 minute chrono counter at 3, central chrono second.
Condition:
Case: The case is in very good condition for its age. Smaller scratches but no deep scratches or dents. A few scratches on the case back.
Hands: The lume on the minute and hour hand is flaking and need cleaning or new lume. I am not sure if the hands of the chrono-second and minute are original. The crown seems not original too.
Dial: The dial is in good condition. Deep black with T SWISS MADE T marking
Crystal: The plexi needs a polish and looks a bit foggy from the inside. But there are no scratches.
Hard facts:
Case: Stainless steel
Movement: Lemania 1277, 17 jewels, (Tissot Cal. 870)
Diameter: 36mm/39mm without/with crown
Final price: 5k shipped (was 8k, 7k, 6,8, 6k)
Feel free to ask questions. Check out my references:
