Ok, now that I have your attention...read on...
TKF is back!
Ok, we didn't really go anywhere, but we're wondering...where did everyone go? We want you back home, participating in the friendly forum that is TKF.
With that in mind, we've come up with a way to sort of "motivate" everyone to come back...I mean, who doesn't like a contest...or more importantly, free money?
The name of the game is all about participation, and the grand prize is cold, hard cash...that's right, the winner of this contest will receive 100 USD via Paypal!
That's $100 for just participating in the forum!
Of course, there are some rules...we can't have everyone just posting a bunch of garbage to boost their post count. No, we want to make it fair and honest for everyone...so with that in mind, here are the rules:
1) Quality posts only (10 points/day): what determines a quality post? No short responses and no spam. You should know what a good, quality post is. What is one example of a great way to determine the quality of your post? One example is by how many people like it!
2) Start at least one new thread a day (5 points/thread): it doesn't have to be in the same forum everyday, in fact, mix it up! You can post one in the General Watch forum one day, then the Rolex Watches forum the next, then one in the brand new Breitling forum the day after...you get the drill.
3) Everyone except for the TKF Moderators, Administrators and guests are eligible to participate. Obviously, this would mean that the guests currently lurking this forum will actually have to sign up and participate! As for the Admins (see below), well...yeah, it should be pretty obvious why we can't join.
4) The contest will begin on July 1st at 12:01am CDT, and end on July 31st at 11pm CDT (Central Daylight Savings Time...CDST?) The final judging will be conducted by the TKF Admins:

We will judge everyone based on the number of points accumulated, as well as the quality of the posts. We also reserve the right to deny the winner, if we have determine it to be necessary.
5) You may not spam anyone. As an online community, we all know how much we hate spam, and we would hate to have one of our own go out and spamming our site on other sites. Be respectful, and share our community the right way.
6) After the contest is over, we will notify the winner via PM. After the winner has been notified, we will formally announce the winner as soon as possible.
7) If you are caught abusing the system in anyway, you will be disqualified from the contest. We will notify you via PM.
