Hi everybody, this is my first post here in the forum, I hope IÂŽm doing it right (it it ok in this thread, or should I start a new one??).
Anyway, I wanted to share some picture and a bit of history of my Navitimer Jupiter Pilot. This was my dadÂŽs, he used to be a police helicopterist (italian police), and the watch was issued equipment. When he retired, it was gifted to him, and after a few years of "intense" use, he gave it to me, and it was in bad shape. Having recently moved to Sweden, I didnÂŽt look around much, but eventually contacted the Official Breitling Nordic in TĂ€by. As you can see from the pictures, they did a great job. It wasnÂŽt cheap at all, but I was super happy.
I have changed the battery once already and the price for that at a Breitling retail store in central Stockholm felt really to0 much (around 5/600 sek, donÂŽt remember exactly). Now I need to change it again, do you have have tips on some watchmaker who might be able to do it for cheaper?
