Good morning Community!
For sale is my Citizen SevenStar Automatik Parawater from the year 1968.
I´ve imported the watch many years ago directly from Japan. Since that the movement was completely serviced and all seals have been exchanged.
I did some research on the net and found nothing similar. Looks like it´s very rare. Especially the original bracelet itself is worth the money. The sliding clasp for quick adjustment is marked with PAT. PEND. The clasp itself is marked with CITIZEN and STAINLESS STEEL. It fits up to 20cm wrist size.
According to the serial number, the watch was produced in January 1968. Everything looks original. Small signs of wear on the case, never polished. Original doomed plexi crystal with only a few small scratches, hard to recognize. Original Beads-of-Rice bracelet without any stretch which is very comfortable to wear. Original marked folding clasp with patented quick adjustment. Never seen this before. Original Citizen signed crown.
Perfect dial and hands. The color of the dial changes from silver to light blue in the sun. Together with the sparkling bezel it really looks awesome!
The dial is marked with "JAPAN" and "1624-IY".
English day window with red Sunday which shows some scratches on some of the days. Quick set for the date, but not for the day.
I don´t have pictures of the movement. I don´t want to open it because of the new seals. But I will open the watch for pics if somebody is really interested in buying the watch.
