For sale a pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch ref. 145.0022 with documents.
The model comes with a three-body construction: a large water-resistant 42 mm. asymmetric stainless steel case with lyre lugs and two round chronograph pushers in the band, protected by a guard, a snap on black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, and a screwed case back engraved with the Speedmaster logo on the back.
The watch presents a matte black dial with painted luminous Baton numerals, three subsidiary guilloche dials for the constant second at 9, the 30-minute register at 3, the 12-hour register at 6, an outer minute and 1/5th second division, luminous white Baton hands, all protected by an hesalite glass.
This reference was the successor of the iconic ref. 145.022, which debuted in 1968, approximately one year prior to NASA’s famed Apollo 11 moon mission.
This was also the very first Speedmaster to incorporate the Cal. 861 movement, which the current production Speedmaster calibers are still based off of to this day.
The watch has been serviced by our internal watchmaker and works perfectly.
