If you really don't like the bubble on the sub, you can change the glass at a dealer who offers a good price and tell them to save the originale.

My sub 1680 without the bubble, a poor mans SD 16660 ;)

The 666 is a super kool watch, I hope can locate a nice one. 1680 is not that bad either.....even more comfy on the wrist.

Or.....u need a proper Dweller:)

Did you buy since it´s now sold?? I wish i had grabbed it :-( It´s either one like that or a sub from the same period.

Kan inte uttala mig om just den klockan, men rent generellt bör du veta vad du gör om du skall köpa vintage.
Det är mycket som kan gå fel om du köper "fel" klocka, och som potentiellt kan kosta dig mycket pengar att rätta till.
Det finns många fallgropar att navigera sig förbi när det gäller vintage Rolex.

Typ allt! Den kan vara i akut behov av service och det kan bli dyrt. En vanlig service kostar från 5k men en där många delar behöver bytas kan kosta mångdubbelt mer.
Dessutom kan en vintage klocka, såklart, vara ett ihopplock, vilket sänker värdet betydligt.

Vill dock lägga til att jag gillar vintage och inte tycker att du ska skrämmas av hoten utan uppmuntras av möjligheterna istället :)
 
OH dear, I see what you mean. So how would you be able to tell if the watch is 100% original and not a ihopplock? The only thing that i have been looking at is that the dial and hands have a nice almond colour, i have found one or two where either the hands look to fresh/green or the dial has been repainted.

I´ve also learned about the amplitude which can help measure if the watch movement is in good order???

As i said i really appreciate any help that i can get :)

Det du kan göra är att be om så många bilder som möjligt på klockan, inklusive urverk och sedan be någon kunnig person på forumet ta en titt på den. Jag skulle slänga ut en fråga under vintage-delen på forumet, där får du garanterat svar. En bra grej är att alltid räkna in en service i priset, dvs lägga till 7-9k på priset.
