I know what you mean, these eberhard are commonly called as pre extra fort, cause this production is earlier in confront of the extra fort fitted by the 14000 caliber. This example is more or less from the mid of the 30’. They are getting more interest in day by day from the community and I have to say this is deserved! What other solution we have from that era with a 40mm stepped steel case? Not so many others I mean.. the design is great but this is subjective. Surely there is something objectively special in these Pre Extra fort chronographs, maybe the size, maybe the step case, I don’t know, but that’s it. It’s also really hard to find such a nice dial example cause the snap back was surely not the best method to not allow the sweat and umidity to pass inside. Anyway the correct name of these watches is Eberhard 16000, pre extra fort is only a name given to them from the community

I don’t know if this is the right topic but this model is commonly known as Jim Clark cause Carlini ( a box racing operator connected to Jim ) leaved a letter where he said jimmy gifted him of a Gallet Multichron 12 with black dial and three registered counter. We had no pics of jimmy wearing this model but it’s considered like the watch he was wearing during the Indianapolis 1965

Påskdag med pyssel, och därför klockbyte under dagen. Nytt armband på Viking, fick några minuter på armen idag. 70-talare från Super Jet följde med annat köp och fick också nytt band och lite puts idag. Allt över 35 mm känns udda när man vanligen håller sig inom 28-33 mm så den åkte snabbt av. Slutligen en Citizen Cosmotron som fått nytt band. Tänkte prova som hastigast, men den sitter kvar på armen trots att den inte går Följde också med annat köp, noterade att den ser rätt cool ut och började läsa på.... Elektronisk klocka från 1972, detta ex tillverkat i januari 1974. Elektronisk innebär batteri och balanshjul, dvs glidande sekundvisare när den får ett nytt batteri. Fler bilder nästa vecka om den startar efter batteribyte.
