Förresten, Certina DS som det diskuterades om skall vara lite tåligare. DS som i "Doubble Secutity". Saxat;
DS came up already in 1959 and meant a) shock protection and b) a rubber ring to fix the movement, more flexible than any plastic or metal movement spacer. Innovative in 1959 though. Certina (certus, roman for secure) watches withstood a lot of challenges: in the wheel of a rallye car, in an icehockey puck, 6-meter drop. The DS was accompanied by extra thick crystals and screwed backs and a wr of 100m. All that symbolized by the turtle.
