Dagens klocka:
Skrev det här för OF så ni får åka med på utrikiskan...
I have had this watch since 2012 and sort of never got around to look at it properly. Bought it for less than 180 USD (but in Swedish kronor of course). What got me into buying mode was the size and the condition. It is a true 37 mm not counting the (original Longines) crown. Lugs still have very sharp bevels and the dial is in really nice shape - with only a little radium burn. The crystal unfortunately has some "dry cracks" (showing as dark lines in the pictures below) and I plan to have it replaced and at the same time have the movement serviced. Case back marked "6555 5" in one line and "83" below that - and case is marked "83" on back of lug. 12.68Z movement and the serial indicates around 54-55 I gather.
The pictures are not very flattering as the watch looks so much better live. The dial has a warm glow to it.
A service mark on the case back.
Looking forward to having this one serviced and to begin using it in rotation with my other watches.
