Jag har ett Hirsch Robby som jag gillar, men det har ett rakt slut på bandet. Hittar ingen bild på min egen kombo så jag lånar en från nätet.

Sinns egna är riktigt bra och gillas skarpt. Dock så har jag en viss fäbless för variation ;).
 
Missar klockeventet hos Ericsons i år.
Men visst har det pratats om ett gtg framöver?
Edit Piaf: skulle ju vara skoj att ses på Elsas i Norberg. Men jag har förstått att avståndet från Sthlm är längre än avståndet Norberg -Sthlm. ;)
 
Jag har i två veckors tid nu kört med Erikas Original MN. Tror slutnotan hamnade på ca 600:- vilket är lite i överkant kan man tycka men bandet är verkligen bekvämt och lär funka fint i sommar med sin stretch.

Man får ange omkretsen på sin handled när man beställer sen har banden en justermån på ca 2-3cm.

Sinn skriver ofta att deras vridringar är ”captive” (unverlierbar). Vad betyder det egentligen? Är något som skiljer sig från andra vridringar?

Jag gillar bruna urtavlor och tycker att det är en smula märkligt att det inte kommer fler bruna tavlor med tanke på tropical dial-galenskaperna. Speciellt på en klocka som 103 med plexi skulle en brun tavla vara mysig, men då en solid brun och inte metallic eller elektropläterad.

FFD-serien är cool även om det inte är min typ av klocka. Man bör bara vara medveten om att den är relativt hög i relation till diametern. 38mm x 15,5mm, samma mått som 356 som referens om man skulle vilja prova storleken.

EDIT: Blandade först ihop det med T1/T2´s extra säkerhetsfuntion att man måste trycka ner vridringen innan man kan ändra position

Men Captive är väl att den sitter fast med små skruvar så att man inte ska kunna slå loss den.

It's true that the bezel on my Black Bay felt like heaven. It was just a pleasure to operate. But boy, once either the watch or my hands (Lord behold, or even both) came in contact with the slightest amount of water, the bezel jammed regularly and I simply couldn't even get a grip on it. That makes it useless for actual diving if you ask me, as a nonprofessional diver.

Now looking at my U1, yes, the bezel has play in every direction and it doesn't feel nearly as satisfying to play with it but it is THE perfect bezel for actual diving. Just like the lume of Sinn watches, the bezel is just thought out all the way through.

After asking Mr. Schonefeld about the function of the bezel, he again revealed to me what Sinn had to incorporate into their design, in order to create, in my opinion, the perfect dive watch bezel. First of all the bezel has to be operable at any time, in even the harshest environments and maybe even with the thickest gloves on. That's why Sinn designed the bezels on their diver's watches to be a tad looser so that the diver can operate the bezel using one thumb only. That's also the reason for these pill-shaped cutouts on the edge of the bezel. Apparently they turned out to offer the best grip in even the most severe conditions.

I can also confirm that out of all my watches, the bezel on my U1 is by far the easiest to operate at any given moment. Furthermore, a little bit of room or play under the bezel is needed so that dirt, salt - or even ice crystals won't build up as easily, which might, in the end, lead to an inoperable bezel. Needless to say that no serious diver or operator would ever want that to happen. While enabling all these features listed above, the bezel is still extremely secure and mine has never moved unintentionally.

Simply put: Sinn's bezels are designed for real divers. How often did the bezels on my other watches get stuck after swimming in the ocean? I stopped counting by now. I mean yes, that was always fixable by putting the watch in a sink full of warm water back in the hotel room, but right "in the field'" the bezel was useless often times.”

Det pratades lite löst om vi skulle ses vid Ulva Kvarn där Tidlösa Ur håller hus. Men Elsas låter ju lockande :)

Håller med till fullo! Det stämmer bra det, är canvas som jag har vaxat. Canvasen vaknar verkligen till liv när man vaxar det och får en mer militärt / toolig stil som patineras riktigt schysst. :)

Mycket bra!
Sinn är inga ”show offs”
 
Då var det dags igen, efter en tids frånvaro från Sinn-tråden.
Har ägt några Sinn senaste åren, alltid varit imponerad av märket och har alltid saknat det när jag varit utan.
Igår fick jag möjlighet att ta över en EZM 3 av en mycket trevlig herre här på forumet.

Kunde inte vara annat än nöjd och jag får nog säga att detta är favoriten av dom fyra Sinn jag hittills hunnit med.
40mm, kronan på vänster sida, 500m, stenhårt beater. Som så många andra från Sinn så slipper man oroa sig, detta kommer bli en trogen tjänare under sommarens äventyr. Om den får stanna så länge, återstår att se! Men känslan är bra.
