Glad tisdag alla!
Galet snygg! :)

This is not mine, rather it belongs to someone I know. As cold war era space travel is one of my favorite topics in life, with an emphasis on the Apollo missions (other than Apollo 1, obviously), this is a grail watch of mine. I was elated to even get to see one in person, even more so to get the chance to wear it for awhile. The person who owns it is no longer an avid collector, though this person did buy this piece new in 2004. They were completely oblivious to the subsequent rise in value as the years have gone on and examples have become harder to come by. I made the mistake of informing this person, and now they will likely never sell... though I would have inevitably felt guilty about basically stealing the watch for the measly amount they were willing to accept before I informed them of the current listing price.

I also made the mistake of not taking a picture of the beautifully enameled case back, which you should google to see. It is quite the piece, and most certainly in my top 5 grail watches. Someday.... But not today.

This is a one of 3500 limited edition release to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moonlanding. Refernce is 3569.31.00.
